Terms & License

What you grant us

By connecting a repository you grant PureCode a non-exclusive, revocable license to convert commits you authored before January 1, 2025 into machine-learning training datasets and to sublicense those datasets to AI companies. You keep full ownership of your code. We never publish your source, show it to other users, or resell it as source code.

Revocation

You can revoke any repository (or uninstall the GitHub App entirely) at any time. Revoked datasets are deleted from our servers and excluded from all future licensing deals. Licenses already sold before your revocation remain valid for those specific deals, which is standard for data licensing.

Payments

The value shown on your dashboard and public card is an estimate of your code's licensing value, not a guaranteed payout. Your balance grows when a dataset batch containing your code is licensed to a customer; your share is proportional to your appraised contribution. Withdrawals are paid in USDT (TRC-20) to the wallet address in your settings, normally within a few business days of the request.

Your responsibilities

Only connect repositories you have the right to license: code you wrote, on your own account. Commits authored by other people are automatically excluded from valuation and datasets. Don't connect repositories containing secrets or third-party proprietary code.

Access

The PureCode GitHub App requests read-only access to the repositories you select — nothing more. We store the derived datasets and aggregate statistics; bare clones used for analysis are deleted immediately after processing.
